Brain Issues

Yesterday, my brain ran in random mode, jumping from one subject to the next, fixing that and researching this, and blogging and messaging and reading and all sort of things that seemed to make it happy. Today, I cannot focus at all. My inexpensive, shitty fitness watch says I took a 45-minute nap, though I don't recall sleeping. While heating my lunch in the break room's microwave, I thought I should research a new cell phone. In less than the two minutes time it took to finish heating my froze lunch and walk back to my desk, I forgot all about the cell phone. I ate my lunch, trying to remember what it was I wanted to do. How can I expect the world to be stable when my own brain won't pick a speed? Tonight is THC mocktail night, round two. My son and I are testing out sleep aids that won't hang in our systems the next day. Round 1 was fairly successful, but it is a baseline. Now, for the testing. Science!

Back in the old days, my employment allowed me more time for online shenanigans. Helpdesk allowed for time in between calls to think and write.  Sitting in the Network Center means I have zero time in between tasks, calls or issues.  Not to mention, the office politics have gone from preschool to GoT level. As we all know, I suck at politics.   And now I have to run to a meeting ...
